#dan harmon sounds like my older sister #her name is Bones right?
At least I know there’s a “Booth” and “Bones.” But who’s the second person on Castle? As far as I’m concerned they’re both named Castle.
Wrong again, technically it’s Booth and Brennan ;)
Ugh, nitpicking! There’s probably a Bones hipster out there who’s rolling her eyes and saying “Technically it’s Seeley and Temperance.”

Whitney is the gender equivalent of a minstrel show. Whitney as a character is a grotesque, and those around her are constantly either disgusted by her or offended by the way she treats them, yet willing to put up with it because she’s pretty(?), snarky like a mean girl, and the main character of the show they are on. Her female friends are not much better than she is, especially the single one who is unattractive simply because she’s single. I don’t celebrate women who spend a lot of time making it seem like women/womanhood/sex with women in the long term, etc., are awful. I don’t want to support retrograde pussy jokes or cheap, shock-value dead baby jokes just because a woman is telling them. I don’t have to like shows that don’t represent me. I especially don’t have to like shows which are making hay out of the gender thing and using it for jokes a man from the mid-90’s would tell, at the expense of women and their actual experience.
